Scope of work:
The restoration project focused on critical historic structural components at Vizcaya, including the East Loggia, Entrance Loggia (West), and Enclosed Loggia (South). It involved replacing large windows and doors at historic archways and columns enclosing the East Loggia with an impact-resistant glass system. Additionally, repairs were made to the building pier adjacent to and below the East Loggia, as well as to structural floor framing components above the ceiling over the swimming pool, and basement repairs. Further scope included a complete historic pool restoration, necessitating water blasting to remove the coating before resealing.

Scope of work:
The Coral Gables Merrick House is a historic home that previously belonged to the City of Coral Gables' founder, George E. Merrick. The property is registered in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and has been renovated to become a museum. The project involved historic restoration and preservation of the exterior and interior of the house, as well as upgrades to the structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Prior to any construction work, LEGO conducted full abatement for mold, asbestos, and lead. The project also included the expansion and renovation of the parking lot and outside areas, as well as a full renovation of the external garage.

Scope of work:
Re-roofing the flat and sloped building roof housing area, along with electrical and mechanical equipment, using a built-up roofing system. Additionally, a new enclosure was constructed, including a pad/screen wall with a footprint of approximately 300 sq. ft., all footings, an 8” CMU wall, a structural slab, drainage to existing areas, new steps, a new gate, and a new chain-link fence top enclosure. Electrical services involved coordinating the disconnection and re-connection of FPL Service, installing a new 400A FPL-approved meter, relocating existing service entrance and panels, and relocating existing branch feeders and panels to new HVAC equipment.

The project installed new infrastructure, power, lighting, fire alarm, telecommunications, HVAC diffusers, and fire protection systems. It also involved installing a new washing machine, relocating the existing dryer, and adding necessary electrical components and drainage. Two new circuits were installed for a new ice cream machine. Additionally, the transition from analog to hybrid IP/analog equipment was completed, reconnecting existing CCTV components to the new headend equipment in a phased manner.

Scope of work:
The project involved the interior demolition and renovation of three fire stations, including the replacement of AC units, ducts, fire alarm systems, plumbing, fixtures, toilet partitions, and accessories. Bathroom renovations were carried out to comply with ADA requirements, along with new electrical installations, lights, sensors, emergency lights, fire sprinkler systems, flooring, concrete columns, CMU walls, stucco, paint, acoustical ceiling, epoxy floor, roll-up doors, wood and metal doors, backflow preventers, water main tapping, roof additions, parking striping, and landscaping restoration. Ceramic tile was installed throughout the facility, and kitchen equipment, cabinets, and epoxy flooring were installed in the apparatus bay.

The project involved the general renovation of the Police Services Center located at 17300 Royal Palm Boulevard, Weston, Florida 33326. The work included, but was not limited to, interior renovation work, which encompassed the reconfiguration/ remodeling of approximately 4,467 SF of the existing facility. The remaining facility spaces, such as restrooms, locker area, and breakroom, underwent finish upgrades including, but not limited to, flooring finishes, wall base, paint, door hardware, ceiling tiles, plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, lockers, and replacement of all existing light fixtures with new LED light fixtures. Construction work was strategically phased and scheduled to allow for the continuity of police operations throughout the project. The Police Services Center had to remain in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during this project.
